Meet Coach Mike.
Coach Mike is a seasoned veteran with 25 years of coaching experience in softball, baseball, football, and lacrosse. Renowned as the #1 Director of Scouting and Recruiting at CSA PrepStar, Coach Mike is also the associate editor of PrepStar Magazine. As a former college athlete himself, he brings a unique perspective to his role, dedicated to guiding student-athletes and their families through the intricate college recruiting process.
Coach Mike specializes in providing comprehensive support across academic, athletic, and financial aspects of college recruiting. With a wealth of experience spanning over two decades, he has become a trusted resource for elite athletes and their families. His commitment is evident in the success stories of hundreds of athletes across various college sports who have seamlessly transitioned to collegiate play under his expert guidance as both a coach and collegiate scout.
In his role, Coach Mike goes beyond traditional coaching, offering a myriad of recruiting resources, including video tutorials, articles, video assessments, and invaluable recruiting tips and timelines. His passion for helping athletes achieve their dreams shines through, making him a respected figure in the realm of college recruiting.

We decided to sign our son up for PrepStar in April of 2023 after a few conversations with Coach Mike Woosley.
We were apprehensive, to say the least, because the last company we signed up with turned out to be a complete waste of money, and we didn’t want to go through that again!
Fast forward to July 2023 and he has well over 300 views with the vast majority being D1 Football programs!!
I am at a loss for words on the service provided by PrepStar and Coach Mike, if I call or text him I get a response in a very quick amount of time if not immediately, all I can say is this company and the people that make it work are LEGIT and you owe it to your child to at least give them some time to speak with

As a baseball dad (i.e., chauffeur) of a 17-year-old high school Sr. baseball player, our family would like to extend high reviews and best accolades to Coach Mike Woosley and CSA PrepStar.
Coach Woosley reached out after our son Howard Prince pitched well at several showcases. His PrepStar profile has been viewed over 1300 times by coaches from really prestigious educational programs of all sizes, well-known Christian universities, and highly regarded JUCO baseball programs. To date, the best opportunities to play at the college level have come via PrepStar.
As a personal recruiting coach, Coach Mike helped our son set up his profile and always made himself available to sort through decisions, showcases, and other opportunities. Mike’s friendship has become one of our most valuable baseball resources..

Hi Coach Mike,
I wanted to let you know that Brooke signed her letter of intent to play Lacrosse at Widener University today! I want to thank you for answering any and all of our questions over the past two years while going through this process. Especially, recently when we informed you that the Coach who was recruiting her at the D2 level decided to move on.
Brooke had an overnight at Widener recently and felt it would be a great fit for her. She still felt the need to meet the new Coach who took over the Lacrosse program at Chestnut Hill College. So we were able to set up a meeting with her in order to see if this would be a good fit for Brooke. After meeting her and hearing her philosophy, it was clear to Brooke that Widener University was School for her!
I want to thank you for all your help with this journey and Prepstar the awesome tool for allowing student athletes like Brooke to continue to play pursue their passion for sports. I will absolutely recommend Prepstar to others in the near future.
